Have you been fined by HMRC?

How it works..

You may have received a letter from HMRC recently stating you have penalties for not filing your tax return on time. If you’ve moved address and not informed HMRC that you’ve moved, it’s likely they have sent these letters to an old address – meaning you might not even know if you’ve got fines until months after!

These late filing penalties can creep up to £1,600 per year.. how do I know if I’ve been fined?

If you have started self-employed work before or after April 2018, or filed a tax return in the past, it’s likely that you will need to file a tax return the following year. Whilst in some cases, HMRC does not issue a tax refund, in most cases, the tax office will expect the taxpayer to inform them that they no longer meet the criteria to file a self-assessment or provide them with a suitable reason as to why they were late in filing their tax return.

I have penalties. Will I still get a refund?

You can! At TaxRefundsRUs, we don’t turn you away if you have penalties.
We will trace all of your missing records for you, file your tax returns and bring you up-to-date with HMRC. If we can’t we won’t charge you a penny for trying!
Usually, you can get yourself a nice little refund even if you originally had penalties.

How does the tax refund process work?

We just need your business income and expense records from 6th April 2019 till 5th April 2020. The more expense receipts you have, the higher your refund could be.

Get your tax refund in just 3 simple steps:

    1. Complete and send us your enclosed forms along with your business records from 6th April 2019 to 5th April 2020.
    2. Within 72 hours of getting your records, we will give you a call with your tax refund figures. If you are happy with the amounts, you can sign off your accounts electronically.
    3. As soon as you sign the accounts, we will transfer you your refund and submit to the HMRC.

Instead of waiting for HMRC, we pay you within 72 hours from our own pocket. We collect our fees from the HMRC when they pay out. We bear the wait so that you don’t have to.

Why would you want to wait any longer?

How long does it take?
